Who AM I

Hi! I’m Asmita Subedi,

a passionate WordPress Plugin Developer at Awesome Motive, with over 7 years of experience in building user-focused, performance-driven solutions for the WordPress ecosystem. What started as a college blog has grown into a full-fledged career that combines my love for problem-solving, clean code, and community.

Outside of code, I’m a curious traveler, book lover, and someone who enjoys deep conversations and shared experiences. I find inspiration in new places and perspectives, and I’m always up for a chat — whether it’s about WordPress, travel, or life in tech.

My Journey So Far

Over the past seven years, I’ve worked across both in-office and remote environments, including collaborating across opposite time zones. These experiences taught me how to adapt, communicate effectively, and stay productive no matter where I’m working from.
I’m also actively involved in the WordPress community. I regularly attend national and international WordCamps, and I’ve had the privilege of being both a speaker and an organizer at a local WordCamp — an experience that’s deepened my connection with the vibrant and welcoming WordPress space.

From the early days of learning WordPress basics to now contributing to large-scale plugins and working with amazing teams, it’s been a rewarding ride — and I’m still learning every day.
